Change the date or amount of your regular payment to charity

If you want to change the date or amount of a recurring card payment or Direct Debit you have set up for a charity, you can do this in our platform.

If you don't have an account, you'll need to contact our Support Team who can action this for you.



If you do have an Enthuse account you can do this yourself by following the steps below.

If you've set up a recurring (scheduled) donation to a charity and you'd like to change the collection date or payment details, you will need to start a new donation with the revised date or updated payment information, then cancel the old scheduled donation.

You will need to donate on the day you'd like the payment to be collected each month/ quarter/ year.

Find the donation page that you used previously to set up your original recurring donation and create your new recurring donation.


Once you've set up your new recurring donation, you can cancel the old scheduled donation.

Note: If you don't cancel the old schedule, you will have two recurring donations set up at the same time


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I set a recurring donation to deduct on dates other than the first donation date?

No, recurring donations are always processed on or around the date of your initial donation.

Why does my old payment remain active after setting up a new one?

Until the previously linked payment is formally cancelled, it will remain active alongside the new recurring donation. which could result in duplicate charges. Monitor your active donations carefully and ensure timely cancellation of the old schedule to avoid unnecessary payments.
