2 Step Verification (sometimes called 2 Factor Authentication, 2FA) adds an additional layer of security to your Enthuse account. When enabled, a password alone is not enough to log in to your account - you’ll also be prompted to enter a code sent via text message, or using a mobile app. This protects your sensitive donor information safe from unauthorised access.
We’ve made setting up 2SV as easy as possible. When you log in, you'll be prompted to set up 2SV on your account via text message or the Authy app.

We’ve made setting up 2-Step Verification (2SV) as easy as possible.
When you log in, you'll be prompted to set up 2SV on your account. Most people choose to verify with text message. Here's how to do it:
1. Login to your Enthuse account and choose "Text Messages" when prompted to set up 2FA
2. Enter your phone number to receive your verification code
3. Enter the code sent to you via text message to enable 2SV on your Enthuse account
How to set up 2SV with the Authy mobile app
We’ve made setting up 2-Step Verification (2SV) as easy as possible.
When you log in, you'll be prompted to set up 2SV on your account.
Here's how to do it:
1. Login to your Enthuse account and choose "Mobile App" when prompted to set up 2SV
2. Enter your phone number. You'll get a text with a link to install the Authy app on your phone. You'll also get a text with a security code that you'll need to enter in the Authy app after you have downloaded it
3. This is what the text looks like. Download the app by clicking the link. Alternatively, search for Authy it in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
4. Once you have downloaded and launched the Authy app, it will ask you for your mobile number
5. Choose to get a free phone call or text message from the Authy app to verify your account. The call or text will give you a code which you should write down.
6. On the Authy app, enter the registration code you just received.
7. You have now added your Enthuse account to the Authy app. You'll be presented with an Enthuse "token" code which you'll need to login to the Enthuse platform
8. Go back to the Enthuse 2SV login and enter the "token" code, then click "Next"
9. Next time you login to Enthuse and we ask you for your security code, just go back onto the Authy app and you'll have a new "token" code.
Enter it on the Enthuse platform and you'll be in.
You can choose to remember the device you're logging in from for 30 days if you don’t want to enter a code as often.
How to set up 2SV with the Authy desktop app
We’ve made setting up 2-Step Verification (2SV) as easy as possible.
When you log in, you'll be prompted to set up 2SV on your account.
Here's how to do it:
1. Login to your Enthuse account and choose "Mobile App" when prompted to set up 2SV—don't worry that it says "Mobile"—you will proceed to download the desktop app
2. Enter your phone number—this will connect your Enthuse account to an Authy account tied to your phone number. You'll get a text with instructions to download the mobile app but ignore this and proceed to Step 3 to install the desktop app
3. Download the Authy desktop app from the website by choosing your operating system from the dropdown menu and clicking "Download"
4. Enter your phone number on the Authy desktop app to get a one-off verification code which will complete the app set-up
5. Choose whether you want to get your one-off verification code via SMS or Phone Call
6. Enter the one-off verification code sent to your phone number
7. You have now connected your Enthuse account to your Authy account. Click "Enthuse" to get a 2SV login code
8. Enter this 2SV login code on the Enthuse login page
9. Go back to the Enthuse 2SV login and enter the "token" code, then click "Next"
10. Next time you login to Enthuse and we ask you for your security code, just go back onto the Authy app and you'll have a new "token" code. Enter it on the Enthuse platform and you'll be in.
