You may have paper mandates which detail your permission to set up a direct debit on behalf of a supporter. However, we have no record of these paper mandates and no mechanism to store or record them.
Not recording and storing the paper mandates can lead to a couple of issues:
If someone accuses their recurring payment of fraud, our assessment would be that it does look like fraud because we don’t have the proof that it is legitimate
It is hard for the supporter to track and manage their payments because they don't get emails since they don't have an account with us
To that end, we cannot support this use case of the platform–any direct debits you are setting up on behalf of your supporters must be done outside of Enthuse.
