We have introduced Finisher Medals to our mass event fundraising pages!
Currently this is only available for our mass events pages.

What are Finisher Medals?

Fundraisers taking part in mass events will be able to add a Finisher Medal to their Personal Fundraising page after completing the event. They will be able to share this Finisher medal with family & friends on social media.


How will a fundraiser receive a Finisher Medal?

After the event has finished we will send all fundraisers the Finisher Medal email. This will allow the fundraiser to add the virtual Finisher Medal to their fundraising page.

Please note, Finisher Medals will only be sent to active fundraising pages which have processed at least one donation.


How can a fundraiser add a Finisher Medal to their page?

  • The fundraiser will need to have an active Enthuse personal fundraising page linked to a mass participation event which has processed at least one donation e.g. London Marathon.

  • After the event, the fundraiser will receive the Finisher Medal email

  • The fundraiser will need to click ‘Add Finisher Medal’ if they would like to add this to their page

  • The fundraiser will be directed to their fundraising page

  • The Finisher Medal will be added to the page

  • The fundraiser can share their Finisher Medal on social media using the social share icons on the medal


How do fundraisers share their Finisher Medal on social media?

The Finisher Medal post includes Facebook and Twitter icon. If fundraisers click on this, they'll be redirected to their social media page so they can share their post with friends and followers. If they would like to share on another form of social media, they can click the copy icon to add the Finisher Medal post to their page.


Do Finisher Medals work on team pages?

No, currently the Finisher Medals are just for Personal Fundraiser pages.


Does it work on fundraising pages that are not linked to mass events?

No, this feature is linked to the mass event settings only.
However, we do already support virtual medals and milestones on our Fundraising and Event Registration solutions.


What happens if the email link expires?

The user can request another time-based link if the original email expires. This will log them into their page and allow them to add the Finisher Medal to their page. The email links will be active for 24hrs and after this, the user will need to request a new link.


What if I do not receive my Finisher Medal email?

  • Is it in your spam/junk inbox?

  • Is the email account linked to the email address you registered with?

  • Do you have an active fundraising page linked to a mass participation event?
    E.g. London Marathon, Great North Run, Hell & Back

You can also contact [email protected] and we will be able to add the Finisher Medal to your fundraising page.


What if the fundraiser wants to remove the Finisher Medal from their page?

The fundraiser would need to contact our Support team and they will be able to do this for the user.


Can charity admins add/remove the Finisher Medal on a fundraiser's behalf?

No, currently this will need to be done by the Enthuse team.
You would need to contact our Support Team and team will be happy to add/remove the finisher medal on the fundraiser’s behalf.
