How to close your personal fundraising page

Written by Emma Smith

This article is for Fundraisers on the Enthuse Platform

If you’ve finished fundraising and you want to prevent any more donations, you can close your fundraising page, don't worry, as long as the page isn't deleted, you can still reopen it later.

If you cannot participate in an event associated with your fundraising page for reasons such as personal circumstances or injury, you have the option to close your page or manage its status according to your needs. Event-specific arrangements should be directed to the event organisers.

Closing your personal fundraising page

To close a fundraising page simply Sign in to the Enthuse platform

Select Manage > My Fundraising Pages in the Enthuse menu and click search to see a list of your fundraising pages.

Click the Cog icon > Close on the same row as the fundraising page you'd like to close.

Click Yes in the pop-up window that opens.

Tip! If you decide you want to reopen the page, you can do it at any time by clicking the Cog icon > Live.

Additionally, if you need to create a new fundraising page but want to reflect the total amount already raised, you can manually add the previous total as an offline donation to the new page.

Deleting your personal fundraising page

If you're sure you're finished fundraising and no longer want your fundraising page, you can delete your page.

Rest assured, all funds raised through your page will already have been transferred to the associated charity before the page closure.

Warning: We don't recommend deleting fundraising pages, as once a page has been deleted it cannot be retrieved.

First, follow the steps above to close your personal fundraising page
Then click the cog icon next to the page you want to delete, and select delete.

Click Yes in the pop-up window that opens.

Warning: Once a page has been deleted, it cannot be retrieved.

Account Access

If you cannot access your Enthuse account due to forgotten login details or are not receiving password reset emails, here’s what to do:

  1. Try resetting your password through the Enthuse login page.

  2. Double-check your inbox, spam folder, or other email folders for the password reset email. Sometimes, email filters may redirect these messages.

  3. If you’re still unable to access your account, contact Enthuse Customer Support for assistance. The support team can close your fundraising page for you

Accidental Fundraising Page Creation

If a fundraising page was created accidentally or for the wrong charity, Enthuse does not allow changing an account to a different charity. However, you can:

  1. Request Enthuse Support to close the incorrect fundraising page.

  2. Create a new fundraising page using the correct charity link on the platform.

Manually Closing a Fundraising Page

In cases where you need assistance from the support team to close your fundraising page, ensure you:

While Enthuse support can help with issues related to platform functionality like closing your fundraising page, event-specific matters such as refunds or reassigning spots should be addressed directly with the event organisers.

  1. Submit a request by emailing Support

  2. Ensure you are emailing from the account the fundraising page is linked to

  3. Provide the link to the fundraising page

  4. The support team will process your request and confirm when the page has been closed. If unable to reset your password, include identifying account information (e.g., email address) in your request. After closing the account, donations to charities through your fundraising page will still be processed automatically.

Managing Your Fundraising Page for Events

Before the Event

If you are no longer able to participate in an event, you can close your fundraising page or contact support for assistance. For event-specific queries like ticketing or participant arrangements, get in touch with the event organizers.

After the Event

Once your event concludes, you may choose to close your fundraising page. Note that funds collected through the page before closure will have already been transferred to the associated charity.
