Your charity can opt to be paid your donations weekly (every Monday).
Note: This process should be completed by someone who holds significant financial responsibility within your charity, such as a trustee or Director of Fundraising.
What will you require for this process?
An Identity Document (Passport/Driving Licence)
A proof of address document
A Business Registration Document (Which Business Registration Documents do we accept for Stripe Payments?)
Requesting the change
A Charity Administrator will need to email [email protected] with the subject line ‘Weekly payouts’.
We will then be in touch to process this request
What to do next
Navigate to Verification Centre > Activate Stripe Account
2. You will be asked to enter some details about your charity
3. The next step will prompt you to select the country that you are registered in, as well as providing both your organisation’s sort/routing code and account number.
4. It will then ask your personal details, as well as two forms of ID, we recommend using your passport and driving licence. The individual registering must be at least one of the following:
This person is authorised as the primary representative of the account.
This person owns 25% or more of the company.
This person is a member of the governing board of the company.
This person is an executive or senior manager with significant management responsibility.
5. The review stage will ask you to read the terms of service and submit to finish the process.
