Why are donors asked to leave a gift on the platform?

In line with industry standards, charities can choose to give the supporter the option to leave a small gift to contribute towards the cost of our platform when they make a donation.

Donors will see a message about this on our platform when they make a payment. This is totally optional and down to the donors and how much they have and want to give.

We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the public because 70% of them chose to support the tech costs on behalf of charities, ensuring more of what they give goes to people in need.
