What is the Corporate Marketing Permission Statement?

The Corporate Marketing Permission Statement (MPS) is a new feature that allows corporate event partners (such as Great Run Company) to collect GDPR-compliant email marketing consent directly within a fundraising checkout, styled to their brand. This feature provides a secure and transparent way for corporates to collect marketing consent from supporters.

Why did we build this?

We recognised the need and decided to productise this feature for all our corporate users. This ensures data safety and transparency for supporters while enabling effective marketing consent collection.

Key Benefits

Partners: Zero-code setup; brand-matched look & feel; clean API feed for data transmission.

Donors: Simple, single-checkbox opt-in with full clarity on how their data will be used.

How does it look to the donor?

The Corporate Marketing Permission Statement appears on the confirmation page of the fundraising checkout. This placement prevents any conflict with existing charity branding and avoids confusion regarding multiple marketing permission requests.

This is what it looks like to donors within the checkout flow.

The statement will comprise the following information:

  • Logo: Uploaded by the Corporate administrator.

  • Opt-in Title: Default: "Stay connected with us," editable up to 70 characters.

  • Opt-in Text: Editable; suggested limit ≤ 230 characters

  • Default: "We'd love to keep you up to date about our latest events and news. Please let us know if it's okay to contact you. We'll never share your data."

  • Colours: Primary (box) and Secondary (text) colours are editable to match the brand.

  • Channel: Currently, consent is collected for Email only. The user interface is designed to be future-proof, keeping the channel selector visible but locked to "Email."

How do I set it up in the Back-office?

Note: Only Corporate Administrators will have this functionality

In the back office, you will see a new tab called: Marketing Permission Statement
