New Event Types

Enthuse fundraising is available on all event types as long as you have this enabled on your Enthuse account, meaning registrants will automatically have a fundraising page created when registering for an event.

General Registration Event

Previously known as Charity, this is your standard registration event type. This event type is great for a wide range of community events for example a charity raffle or meetup. General registration events have a simple registration button like this:

You can add an optional team component to your forms as well if you want to allow your participants to create a team fundraising page:

With General Registration Events, you have the option to register multiple people during your registration, however, the main registrant will need to enter all their participant information and pay for their entries.

Physical Sporting Event

This new event type is a combination of the old Running, Triathlon, Cycling, Swimming and Mud event types. This is your traditional physical sporting event, for example, this is the event type you would use for a running race like a 5k, Half Marathon, etc.

Not to be confused with our Virtual or Hybrid Events, this event type works best for a physical event only that do not have a virtual component. Physical Sporting Events have a simple registration button like this:

You do not have the option to create or find a team but you can enter your sporting club/team when you register:

Virtual or Hybrid Event

Previously known as Virtual, this is our newest event type at Enthuse. Virtual or hybrid events allow you to make the most of our Strava integration. Participants will have the ability to connect their Strava accounts and log their activities. They can also see their progress with activity targets and leaderboards.
